Adair County Churches photographs were largely taken by local historian and former professor Paul Owen Selby for his self-published 1964 book, "The Rural and Village Churches of Adair County." The book and photos are housed in Pickler Memorial Library's Special Collections and University Archives at Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri.
