2:02 200 Block North Franklin

Public Deposited

The tremendous ice storm that hit Kirksville Saturday evening, January 23, 1897, presented residents with, according to local papers, "the severest touch of winter that has been felt for many years." Power lines were down across Franklin street next to Milton Maxwell's Union Meat Market (210 N. Franklin Street) in the block north of the Square.
