2:21 Burr J. Trowbridge Residence
Public DepositedMrs. Irene Fitch, widow of shoe store owner John T. Fitch, sold her home to Burr Jackson Trowbridge in 1893 and he built this new house on the lot that summer. It was located at 315 East Pierce Street. Burr served several terms on the Kirksville City Council before he and his wife, Angeline Minard Trowbridge, returned to Macon, their former home, around 1907.
