Hello to all at home. I will write you to day [sic] to let you no [sic] I am well sure glad you are 
all well. I got your letter you wrote the 22nd got Daisy card sure was surprise [sic] to get a card 
from her. We all was talking about home to day [sic] so I had to write a line are [sic] two. How is 
the mine working. Tell Elmer Miller I said to write tell him I am still able to go I go over to see 
Fritz everday [sic] or to [sic]. There is a boy right with me is in my work

he is a good old scout to [sic] his name is Mickee. Tell Don I said to write for he hant [sic] had 
a word to say sence [sic] I been in France. France, it is some country where I am look like a room 
in the mine that has falling in so papa will no [sic] how France is where I am. I would like to tell 
you what front I am on but cant [sic]. Drown Stucky is still with me Dan James, Bill Gam and B.D.

be, there is only one officer over me and he sure is a good one he would do more for his men then

Well tell Pauline she wants to go to school ever [sic] day this term and maby [sic] I will be home 
by the time school is over and this will be her last term in ward school. Tell Emma I said to send 
Juanita to tell her to write and Bell hello and make Emma write. I will
