(Image 1) Our soldiers and sailors want books to read and study. They want some of YOUR books. The following sorts of books are needed. FICTION: Adventure, western stories, detective stories, love stories of the best sort, stories of business, historical novels. NON-FICTION: Books on the present war, especially tales from the trenches; travel and history, especially of western Europe; poetry, old and new; biography; books on agriculture, automobiles, mechanics; books on drawing, on arithmetic, algebra, geometry; simple textbooks in French. These books may be sent to any public school, to the Normal School Library, to the Normal Book Store, or placed on your front porch to be collected Saturday, March 23.
