LOS ANGELES.-Would you believe that during a single enlistment in the U. S. Marine Corps a man won 
nine medals, including the much coveted Congressional Medal of Honor, the Dewey Medal commemorative 
of the Battle of Manila Bay, the Treasury Department Life Saving Medal, and the Philippine Insurrection 
Medal? The sergeant is telling the pretty girl all about it. He tells her there's always "something doing" 
in the Marine Corps and there's great chance for display of dashing heroism. U. S. Marines fight on land, 
at sea, and in the air and the Marine Corps Service carries a special appeal to the adventuresome and 
daring.
