When these citizen training camps end younger men will be promoted from the ranks. Previous military experience particularly desired. Preference will be given to men over 31 years of age, except where applicant has preeminent qualifications or unusual military experience. Maximum age for citizens, 44 years; for those with certain military qualifications, 50 years. PAY: Transportation, subsistence and uniform provided by the U. S., and $100.00 per month for civilians during training. Those receiving commissions will be paid at the same rate as regular U. S.
