Officers’ Training Camp

THE United States desires more able bodied, able minded,
mature men for reserve officers of the higher grades for the new National
Army. If you are qualified to lead men, the War Department wants you.

Camp Opens August 27
Applications Close July 15

This is the last opportunity for older
men to assume the more responsible
positions in the new National Army.
When these citizen training camps end younger
men will be promoted from the ranks.

To men over 31 years of age —
this is your final chance to become an
officer; to do your solemn duty by giving
the United States the benefit of your
executive experience and the solid judgment
which few of the younger men possess.

Applications will be received from
June 15 to July 15. Positively the last day is July
15. Apply at local officers' recruiting station.

Qualifications

An intelligent, trained mind.
Previous military experience particularly
desired. Preference will be given to men over
31 years of age, except where applicant has preeminent
qualifications or unusual military experience. 
Maximum age for citizens, 44 years; for those with certain
military qualifications, 50 years.

PAY: Transportation, subsistence
and uniform provided by the U. S.,
and $100.00 per month for civilians during
training. Those receiving commissions will be
paid at the same rate as regular U. S. Army Officers.
