I take this opportunity to thank you for the remembrance Index of March 12th.

I am being held here as company clerk, waiting to hear from my application to the Ordnance [sic] 
School at Camp Meade Md.

You may give my address as above for the proposed Bulletin. I think this is a splendid stunt and will 
anxiously wait my copy of the same.

Needless to say I enjoyed reading the Index very much. It is gratifying to a soldier to be remembered
