My dear Mr. Bray:
I am just in receipt of a copy of the Index, also a letter from Mother telling me that you ask for my 
address so that you could send the Index to me. This is very kind indeed. There is nothing that makes one 
as happy over here as to know that he is not entirely forgotten by his former friends back home.

I think I can voice the sentiments of all the boys when I say that we are receiving excellent treatment, 
seeing many sights of interest, and having a very enjoyable time.

Again let me thank you for sending the Index, and with best wishes for the 
continued success of K.S.N.S., I beg to remain
