Our Church's Duty in the War The Church must follow to the front the 70,000 young men who have left our parish churches to fight for our country. Our Church must see that the war does not sever the bond between it and them. The Church must hold them with strong bars of sympathy and service. Our Church must minister to its young men in war even more than in peace. We must not fail them. We must raise $500,000 in January for this work in 1918. Send your contribution or your pledge to your Rector to-day. William Laurence Bishop of Massachusetts Chairman, The Church War Commission
