We get paid this evening behind me we are beginning to need it as what money we did have we spent on the boat we got paid in french [sic] money. I'll draw 140 franc O [sic] no not dollars franc but it goes easy over here. A franc dosn't [sic] last long. general pershing was here today and made a nice speech.
