Dear Editor,

Material of general interest is not so easily obtained as one might expect, so rather than put you off longer I have written this rambling letter. Don't be afraid to cut as freely as you please, your's [sic] truly will not feel the least bit slighted if none of it reaches the Index.

Tell Prof. Violette that I am continually looking for relics of the camps that I can send to the museum. There are plenty here but this thing that is hard is getting them. However, I hope to send some things that may be of interest before a very long time.
