Kirksville Photos by Drake, 1893: The Clifford Henry Album (MUSDP K1)

Benjamin Franklin Henry (1847-1931), long-time Kirksville druggist, operated the Henry Drug Store on the south side of the Square with the help of wife Barbara Isabelle Bates for over 30 years. After selling out to the Rexall Drug chain in the early 1900s, he helped organize the Kirksville Gas Company and served as its first President & General Manger from 1909 until the late 1920s. That's a Kirksville Cycling Club sweater he's wearing in this shot.
