Two Posters About Inventiveness by Racial Stock and Race Descent of the United States
Public DepositedPhoto of two posters: "Inventiveness by Racial Stock in the United States, 1927" and "Race Descent of the Population of the United States." "Inventiveness by Racial Stock" concerns the old world race descent of some of the people issued patents in the U.S. in 1927. The "Race Descent" poster shows the National Origins table compiled by Captain John B. Trevor in 1920, which is about the percentage of Americans descended from particular countries. Taken at the Third International Congress of Eugenics, New York City, Aug. 22-Sept. 22, 1932.
